For Professionals

Family Matters Center for Relational Therapy is committed to helping professionals successfully meet the needs of the individuals and families we all serve in our community.  We are actively involved in advancing the Marriage and Family Therapy profession through our work with the Pennsylvania Association for Marriage and Family Therapists (PAMFT). (www.pamft.com)  We offer trainings and workshops for helping professionals on a variety of topics, such as social and emotional development of children, perinatal mood disorders, effects of depression of family members, effects of substance abuse and alcoholism on families, compassion fatigue and burnout, etc.  We provide approved supervision through the American Association for Marriage and Family Therapy (AAMFT) (www.aamft.org) for marriage and family therapists who are pursuing licensure.  And, we provide clinical consultation to individual therapists and organizations.
